BULGARI UNVEILS AN EXHIBITION IN DUBAI TO CELEBRATE 75 YEARS OF SERPENTI

Bulgari opens the doors to its Serpenti 75 Years of Infinite Tales exhibition in DIFC, Dubai tomorrow, 15 September. An exploration and celebration of the emblematic Serpenti collections, the exhibition allows jewellery aficionados and novices alike to dive into the world of the Roman jeweller and examines the marriage of jewellery and contemporary art at the Maison.

The exhibition marks the launch of Serpenti Factory, an artistic initiative which analyses the snake as a source of creative inspiration and showcases how Bulgari archives continue to inspire modern Serpenti designs.

Visitors will also find some of the most iconic Serpenti pieces from the Bulgari Heritage collection, as well as artistic expressions of the Serpenti emblem courtesy of three regional creatives. Dr. Azra Khamissa, a henna artist known for shattering stereotypes surrounding the art form, likens the survival instinct of serpents to the resilience and adaptability of Bedouins; Dr. Afra Atiq penned a poem inspired by various Serpenti pieces and embraces themes of timelessness, power and craftsmanship; and jewellery designer and sculpture artist Azza Al Qubaisi draws inspiration from local landscapes and utilises materials mimicking scales.

The Tree of Life Serpenti necklace is a one-of-a-kind piece adorned with 27 pear-shaped emeralds

The Bulgari Serpenti 75 Years of Infinite Tales exhibition also houses the Serpenti by Refik Anadol installation. Serpenti by Refik Anadol is an artificial intelligence-generated multimedia artwork installation resulting from algorithms of 200 million images of nature, and integrates a curated selection of Serpenti pieces from Bulgari archives.
